The “Small Lens, Big Filter” solution.
This adapter allows you to use your high-end 82mm filters (like a Variable ND or Circular Polarizer) on tiny lenses often found on camcorders, mirrorless “pancake” primes, or drones.
Zero Vignetting: Unlike step-down rings, this will never cause vignetting because the filter is significantly larger than the lens opening.
Cost Efficiency: This allows you to buy one “master” 82mm filter set and use it on every lens in your kit, down to the smallest 37mm thread.
Ergonomic Note: On a very small lens, an 82mm filter will look like a “satellite dish.” Be careful when handling, as the filter will extend far beyond the lens barrel.
